NEKUDA SOLUTIONS · GRAPHIC SYSTEM 03 · FULL STOP — 01: line & dot · 02: convergence
We end manual work. Full stop.
The period as hero. Cyan when the dot completes a sentence; ink when it looms too big for the frame. Schibsted Grotesk, tight tracking, and as much empty paper as the layout can bear.
3a 16:9 TITLE CARD — THE PERIOD IS THE MARK
Manual work
ends here
The sentence's final period, grown into the brand mark. Bottom tangent sits exactly on the baseline.
3b 16:9 TITLE CARD — TOO BIG TO CONTAIN
Get to the point
The ink mass presses in from the edge — cropped dots are always ink. The only cyan is the sentence's own small period.
3c 1:1 SOCIAL — IN THE DOT'S SHADOW
The work should never sit still.
An all-ink piece: the dot rises like a horizon. Type sits quietly in the empty space it leaves.
3d 1:1 SOCIAL — SCALE JOKE
Get to the point
The whole message is the size contrast: a modest sentence, an immodest period. Both share one baseline.
3e 9:16 STORY — THE WEIGHT ABOVE
One less point where the work stops
The unfinished mass hangs overhead, cropped by the top edge. The sentence answers from the lower third.
3f 9:16 STORY — THE ARRIVAL
Manual
work
ends
here
The complete dot, whole and cyan, holding the lower third — the stacked sentence's period, set free.
3g MOTION STUDY — THE PERIOD BECOMES THE MARK
Manual work ends here
The video ending, looping: the sentence's ordinary period turns cyan, then grows into the brand mark as the type steps aside. Spec in 3h.
3h RULES & VIDEO TREATMENT
Ink vs. accent, and how the dot moves
Cyan when the dot completes. It ends a sentence or sits whole in frame — the arrival, delivered (3a, 3d, 3f). Ink when the dot looms. Cropped by an edge, too big to contain — the mass of unfinished work (3b, 3c, 3e). A cropped dot is never cyan: an interrupted accent is a broken promise. Max one cyan element per piece.
How the giant dot enters. By scale, centered on its final position: 0→100% in 600ms, cubic-bezier(0.3, 0, 0.1, 1), no overshoot — mass doesn't bounce. At most a 2% settle in the last 120ms. Cropped ink dots instead slide in from their off-frame side, same curve, 800ms.
The video ending. Sentence on screen, ordinary period. Hold 400ms. The period turns cyan on the exact frame growth begins, then grows to the brand mark over 700ms cubic-bezier(0.7, 0, 0.15, 1), drifting to frame center; the type fades out during the first 40% of growth. Hold the end frame ≥2s. Same law as systems 01–02: the dot is earned.
